Do you need a safe place to practice hands-on assists? Hands-on assists can deepen student's practices while also building trust between student and teacher. This course is designed for yoga teachers who want to develop, deepen and refine their hands-on adjustment skills. You will learn and practice how to touch in order to move the body in a safe, efficient and functional manner. Understanding how to safely move all major body parts in every category of asanas, you'll walk away knowing how to touch with confidence. (Prerequisite: 200 Hour RYT) This course can be credited toward Yoga Alliance continuing ed hours.
Cathy & Evan have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Together they own Honor Yoga Princeton and are the co-founders of Honor Yoga Now. Cathy began teaching yoga in 2004 in Los Angeles, she has been developing and leading teacher trainings for Honor Yoga since 2015. She's passionate about giving teachers the tools to give hands-on adjustments because of her deep belief in the value they hold in increasing the mind-body connection. Evan, a yoga instructor, reiki master and massage therapist began practicing massage and reiki in 2002 and opened his own business, Heal in Los Angeles. He has thousands of hours of training and has worked with thousands of bodies. His knowledge of the body, coupled with his confident touch brings his students back to his classes for more. Combined they have over 40 years of yoga experience and are passionate about sharing it with you.
