The core is an integral part of our being. A strong core provides us with the strength and support to move with confidence and stability. The core is deeper than surface abdominal muscles and encompasses more of our body than most of us realize.
In this workshop you will learn what constitutes the core, how to engage the core muscles during your yoga practice, and learn new and fun core exercises that can prepare your body for more challenging asana. You will take home with you an assortment of core exercises, as well as a deeper understanding of what it means to “engage your core”. Shift the way you think about your own body by discovering different ways to access and strengthen your core beyond supine abdominal exercises. Get strong from the inside out!
